Angsuman's on a signing spree

The actor has a lot on his platter and intends to prove his worth before the camera.
Angsuman's on a signing spree
Angsuman is on a roll even as he is juggling his time between his projects. The actor is also on a high as a couple of his projects ' Sushanta Saha's 'Aapon Shotru' and Raj Mukherjee's 'Love Love Love' are ready for release.
Says the actor, 'Sushanta Saha's project has me playing a police inspector. Indrajit plays the other lead. I am paired opposite newcomer Aparupa, while Indrajit is cast against Arunima.

'LLL' has me essaying the role of a college-going guy, who does drugs. I am cast opposite Pamela here.'
As for the projects in hand, the actor has been roped in for Probir Nandy's 'Shei To Abar Kache Ele' opposite Kasturi. 'The film, which is a love story, tells the story of a rich guy falling for a rich girl. Incidentally, he is driven away from home and in the process learns the value of money and also discovers real love,' says Angsuman, adding, 'I also have Bahadur Chokraborty's 'Baaz'. My character here has negative shades to it. Paired opposite newcomer Sneha Bhattacharya, I play a Robin Hood inspired character, who eventually, loses his sanity. This is an action venture.'
Jayanta Upadhyay's 'Revenge' is also an action drama, where Angsuman is once again the police inspector avenging the death of his brother.
'Supriyo Sinha's 'Ek Poloke Ektu Dekha' is a rom-com and Sushanta Saha's 'Bhul Bhal' is a comedy,' adds the actor.
With so many projects in hand, isn't it difficult giving 100 per cent to each, one wonders. The actor reasons, 'Acting is my passion. And I bring the scripts back home so that I have ample time to rehearse before giving a shot. That way I can give my best to each project.' So, this signing spree has nothing to do with insecurity? 'Not at all,' confirms Angsuman and adds that he is trying out different characters just to prove that he can act. 'I have just started off with comedy and I am yet to find out how good or bad I am at it. I leave it to the audience to take a call on that,' the actor signs off.
