(BIFF) — aims to become a ground for emerging independent filmmakers to actively share their artistic philosophies and field experiences. As a leading force in Asian cinema, BIFF aspires that this event becomes a milestone for Asian independent filmmakers to expand their global network and thus become a greater force in the world of cinema.
The festival starts in first week of October. On the work front, Aneek is about to shoot his

directorial, Kamra. Trimala Adhikary has already been roped in for

, but Aneek is yet to reveal the rest of the cast. On speaking about Busan, he said, “We would need the platform to network with a lot of business people in global scenario. When we are making something alternative in India, that too regional, it restricts our chances to widen the base of audiences. This is likely to be a huge opportunity for the whole team.” Aneek further added, “Platform Busan is a huge utility to the global filmmaking scenario, but I would prefer that people in India truly understand what it means. And, there is a difference between getting invited for Platform Busan and having their films selected in Official Competition. We are still planning on how to let people around the world know about our upcoming film and may be cash in on some distribution network as well.” Platform Busan will be held for a period of four days between October 5 and October 8, 2019.
