The poster of Aneek’s film was revealed by Tamil director-actor Parthiban at Cannes, while the trailer of the film was launched in India Pavilion under the moderation of ‘Manto’ fame Bollywood actor Inamul Haq.

Sharing his thoughts on the Cannes achievement,

Aneek

Chaudhuri exclusively shared with ETimes, “This is a huge honor; this is the same platform which revealed the looks of Adil’s film and in the last few days, galactic celebrities like

Nawazuddin

, Rahman, Madhavan have graced the pavilion. It is always an honor to represent the nation at this level and there could be no better platform to promote the film.”

Apart from ‘The tale of a Santa and his Moth’, Aneek also revealed his upcoming project ‘

The Zebras

’ on the same platform. “The Zebras is an adaptation of a Shakespearean tragedy and collaborates with international artists from around the globe. The cast and crew will be revealed soon. This is of a much larger scale than my previous projects,” revealed the young director.

Meanwhile, ‘The tale of a Santa and his Moth’ received a good response post-screening and the director is hopeful to rope in a distributor soon. The film is slated to travel around the globe before its release.

‘The Tale of a Santa and his Moth’ is the story of a bisexual widower and his ailing daughter who asks for an Almond cake on Christmas. The father 'Pedro' played by Bollywood actor Pawan Chopra, was once a fancy character player at people's parties and now has no other choice than to stay at home and take care of his daughter played by Usha Banerjee. The film also comments on the personification of Rudolph reindeer (associated with Christmas) and its journey to a world that is peaceful and has enough for self-introspection.
