After receiving much appreciation and 36 awards at a total of 47 national and international film festivals, ‘
Andarkahini
’ has finally locked its theatrical release on September 6.
Directed by Arnab K Middya, this film was made two years back and since then was attending different festivals. After financial problems shelved the release, the makers managed to get back on track through crowd funding and finally it’s happening.
‘Andarkahini’ is a saga of womanhood in the correlative context of human relationships and complex society - four women, four variations of relationships and one society with four facades. It’s stitched with four stories of different diversities with the core crisis of womanhood.
Beside
Priyanka Sarkar in the lead, the film also stars Rajesh Sharma, Sayani Ghosh,
Soumitra Chatterjee, Sumit Samadder,
Anindya Chatterjee and Prasun Gain.
Recently the trailer of the film has been released. It gives sneak peek into all the four stories without divulging any details about the crisis associated with each of the story. In all these four stories Priyanka Sarkar can be seen in four different looks as she nails all four avatars.
