An intense tale of a troubled marriage

Young filmmaker Rohan Sen is making his directorial debut with ‘Ebhabei Galpo Hok’ which sees Joy Sengupta and Rupanjana Mitra in the lead along with Bibriti Chatterjee, Shantilal Mukherjee and Ananda S Choudhuri in pivotal roles.
Joy Sengupta will be seen as a director who is trying to move out of his comfort zone while making a love story. Thriller used to be his preferred genre once. Since he himself is in a crisis, making a romantic film seems extremely difficult.However, he thinks of a story and starts telling his assistant the story. Suddenly the filmmaker sees a novel by a writer which has the same storyline. What happens next forms the crux of the film. The love story is a simple one and has nothing out of the blue.

“This movie is close to my heart. The concept is unique and refreshing. We all hope this one create the right kind of buzz among the audience. The plot of the film will make you think twice for sure. I am lucky that the production team felt the josh behind my story,” said the young director.
Rupanjana will be seen as the director’s wife Kotha. “She loves her husband very much and is a devoted wife. Often people shower their professional frustrations on their loved ones. During one such fight with her husband, Kotha bursts out her inner feelings,” said Rupanjana.
Shooting for the film has already been wrapped up. Produced by Amrita De of Kichukhan Entertainment, It’s eyeing a February release.
