Amrita Chattopadhyay is keeping a busy

Amrita Chattopadhyay is keeping a busy schedule these days. The actress plays Shahida Khatun, an ambitious fashion designer, who is the mystery woman in Ranjan Ghosh’s love story- Aha Re. Her past is not much revealed, but she leaves an indelible mark on the lives of both Raja and Basundhara. “She is a beautiful girl with a noble heart,” said the actress. She added, “I am so happy to work with Rituparna Sengupta.She is a real star who can handle pressure with a smile and the warmth with which she speaks to everyone is really appreciable.”
Amrita is also part of Countdown directed by Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya. “I play Diya Chowdhury, a rape victim survivor. The film narrates how society treats her. It also shows how she deals with it. The story is quite gripping and my character has loads of shades. I am looking forward to this film where I will get to act and show my acting prowess” said Amrita.
Amrita is also part of Saibal Mitra’s film Dobotar Graash, where she plays a school teacher. “Soumitra Chatterjee and Naseeruddin Shah are part of this film and I am honored to share the screen with such stalwarts,” said the actress.
