Amitabh Bachchan supports Dungarpur's Bengal workshop

Shivendra Singh Dungarpur is all geared up to conduct the fourth edition of the Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India in Kolkata. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan launched the poster of the workshop. “We are very proud that we are doing the next film preservation restoration workshop in association with the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) in Kolkata in November. I’m very happy that we are associating ourselves with the Bengal government and the Kolkata International Film Festival so that we can together save the great heritage of Bengali cinema. I’m very grateful to Mr Amitabh Bachchan who has been our brand ambassador for supporting Film Heritage Foundation and this workshop. Also, to our advisors Shyam Benegal and Jaya Bachchan and to members of the Bengali film industry like Goutam Ghose, Aparna Sen, Madhabi Mukherjee, Soumitra Chatterjee, Sandip Ray, Rituparna Sengupta, Avik Mukhopadhyay who have come forward to support our cause to save our cinematic heritage.”
