Ambarish has a lot on his plate

Actor Ambarish Bhattacharya spent his entire Puja in different parts of Maharashtra attending Puja shows. But now, he is extremely busy with a number of film and television projects.
Ambarish said that the shooting of Sujit Mandal’s upcoming film, starring Yash Dasgupta and Priyanka Sarkar, has already started and he is playing the character of Priyanka’s father. “It is a love story and I am playing a very positive character,” he said.The story talks about how love and belief turn the impossible into possible and can bring two lovers from two different worlds togther.
Besides, Ambarish is also acting in two other big projects. The first one is Kaushik Ganguly’s next film, Ardhangini, the shoot of which will start after the director returns from the US. The second project is Arindam Sil’s Mayakumari, a film that pays tribute to Bengali cinema on its 100th year.
He will also be doing playback in Anjan Dutt’s next film, Saheber Cutlet, where he is playing a lawyer. In the film, Ambarish doesn’t like his profession but loves to sing and loves Hemanta Mukhopadhyay and Manna Dey’s songs. Interestingly, Ambarish is known for his good voice and he was called to sing at different Puja shows too. Saheber Cutlet is a musical film with Arjun Chakraborty in the lead. The story revolves around a chef, who is an expert on continental cuisine, and his journey.
