Akash to debut with Swapan's 'Moner Janala'

Swapan Saha had his heart set on casting a new face for ���������Moner Janala���������.
And hence, the film-maker zeroed in on Akash. He explains why he chose this youngster, ���������Right from the time the story was conceptualized, I wanted to cast a newcomer. I had decided to work on a different story in this project. The plot revolves around a guy who is an RJ.I was looking for a fresher with smart looks and a good voice. I saw Akash���������s picture and after a round of talks with him, he was finalized for the part.���������
The director, however, was initially apprehensive initially about Akash���������s Bengali skills. Once that fear was put to rest, Saha was all set to start work with Akash.
And the hero���������s look was in keeping with the times. ���������As is the trend nowadays, Akash flaunts long hair and a beard instead of a clean-shaven look.���������
Paired opposite Akash is Varsha. ���������She has done three films with me and I considered her to be the best choice for this role. As for her appearance, we worked on a simple look. You will notice that for most part of the film, she wears her hair down,��������� shoots the director, as a parting shot.
