Ranjan Ghosh a series of prestigious festival laurels. Now, the latest official selection for ‘Ahaa Re’ is the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival which is scheduled for a August 30 opening. The relationship drama will be screened under the Showcase section.
What comes to your mind when you hear ‘Ahaa Re’? ‘Ahaar’ that means food, and a word to sympathize one adjusting to the tribulations of love. Ranjan Ghosh’s latest offering touches down both aspects. It weaves around the relationship between a young chef from Dhaka Farhaz (Arifin Shuvoo) and a home-delivery cook Basundhara (
Rituparna Sengupta) in Kolkata.
