Agnidev Chatterjee plans next with Purab Kohli

Rituparna Sengupta will be cast opposite the actor in Tere Aane SeThe buzz doing the rounds is that PurabKohli will be playing the lead in AgnidevChatterjee��s film, TereAane Se. The movie was planned after the director��s Bollylaunchpad, Article 161, was nipped in the bud. ��Purab is the protagonist in my film, which spans 40 years. I am very happy with his approach to the role. He is extremely dedicated,�� said Agnidev, adding, ��My lucky mascot, RituparnaSengupta, is cast opposite him.�� Purab, however, is yet to sign up for the role. ��I��ve heard the narration and liked the script. But I haven��t yet signed on the dotted lines,�� said the actor.About Article 161, the director said, ��I am not doing it anymore as I thought commercial elements were lacking in that movie. Added to that, there were certain copyright issues. Also, having met Karan, who was about to play the male lead opposite Rituparna, I decided against working with him as he is not just arrogant, but has little respect for people.��

Tere Aane Se is a simple love story, where a couple meets and falls in love much against the wish of their parents. Then a certain incident changes their lives for ever. The crux of the film is how the lovers survive without each other for 21 years and whether they will ever be able to reunite. The director, who wanted to work with Reena Roy has now replaced her with RatiAgnihotri. ��I tried very hard to contact Reena Roy, but couldn��t trace her. I��ve grown up watching RatiAgnihotri��s films. I remember seeing EkDuujeKeLiye more than a dozen times. It will be a pleasure working with her,�� said Agnidev.

Music for the film is scored by PalashMuchhal. The soundtrack features MohitChauhan, Javed Ali, Arijit Singh and Palak. ��The story and screenplay are by Rahul Bose (cousin of AnuragBasu) and me. The dialogues are penned by MasoodMirza. Gulshan Grover, AtulKulkarni, VikramGokhale, SmitaJaykar, Shahbaz Khan, Yashpal Sharma, MukeshTiwari, Murali Sharma are there in the cast. Parts of the film will be shot in Canada. Shooting commences on September 9,�� said Agnidev.
