’s alleged suicide on Wednesday came another tragic news. Yet another model-turned-actress
Bidisha De Majumdar
was found dead at her apartment in
Dumdum
. The 21-year-old aspiring
actress
used to live with her parents at a rented house near Nagerbazar.
On Wednesday evening the body of the young actress was found hanging in her apartment. Police have already started their investigation and they are still not sure whether it is a suicide or murder. The initial investigation is underway and police are trying to gather more information about
Bidisha
from her close friends and family. As of now, they are suspecting that it is a case of suicide but police are waiting for the post-mortem report.
Bidisha who is a known face in the modeling industry made her acting debut in
Anirbed Chattopadhyay
directed short film titled ‘Bhaar- The Clown’ in 2021. While popular actor
Debraj Mukherjee was seen in the lead role as the clown Bidisha played an important role in the short film.
For the unversed, TV actress Pallavi Dey was found dead at her flat in the Garfa area of Kolkata on May 15 and the police investigation into her mysterious death case is still on.
