After global acclaim, Kalkokkho is screened at KIFF

After a round of several international film festivals,

Kalkokkho

(House of Time) was screened at the 27th

Kolkata International Film Festival

. It was earlier screened at the 52nd

International Film Festival of

India (IFFI), Goa, in Indian Panorama 2021 section.


Directed by Rajdeep Paul and Sarmistha Maiti, the film has a grand World Premiere at the 26th

Busan International Film Festival

. While talking about the film,

Sarmistha

said, “The film was made in the times of pandemic and that time taught us a lot. With so many losses and heavy hearts that we have all undergone, we are very hopeful that the film will leave its timeless fervor on the minds of the larger audience of our country who have lived the similar plight of this dreadful time.”
