Aditya Dey doesn’t want to play safe in his Bollywood debut. The young energetic Kolkata boy wants to start his showbiz journey away from his comfort zone.
Aditya’s passion for acting saw him quit his job embark on a challenging path, the Mumbai Film Industry.
Coming from a non-filmy background and with no such film institutional or theatrical background, he still believed in his willpower and was keen to do something different than the usual and that’s how he landed into the cut throat competition of Bollywood.
“After a burn off struggle I managed to get a chance to be the central protagonist of this Art House movie ‘Lubdh’ which is far from the comfort of typical commercial potboilers. I took the challenge to break the ice and shaped my character in the Film following eight months of hard work. After attending the workshops, I even changed a lot personally and not only that, my view about films have also changed completely. Now that my debut film is ready for release it feels surreal,” shares Aditya.
‘Lubdh’ has been directed by Partha Ganguly and also stars
Joy Sengupta and
Ankur Bhatia in key roles. Aditya will be seen as the protagonist in this upcoming thriller.
Not only making his debut as an actor but he is also in talks for another Bollywood project with an ensemble cast and Aditya will also be making his debut as a producer. The experience is thrilling and the actor is all excited to join the mainstream bandwagon of Bollywood. With his mind set for achieving big things and carrying a lot of dreams on his shoulder, Aditya now waits for the big Bollywood break.
