Actress Ushasie Chakraborty is on a roll!

Ushasie Chakraborty is juggling between her new roles. The popular actress has opened up her own production house titled ‘Hundred Flowers’ joining hands with cinematographer Indranil Mukhopadhyay and Dr. Arindam Poddar.
The actress aims at churning out experimental short films for the time being. Television series is also a part of her plans. ‘Hundred Flowers’ has been formed with sole aim of telling good stories to the audience. However, that doesn’t mean she won’t be acting any more. Acting still remains her priority.
Although there are plans of making full length feature films in future, right now Ushasie is focusing on developing digital content as it’s the future of entertainment.
On the working front, up next for Ushasie is a sports drama ‘Kusumitar Galpo’ based on a real life incident of a woman footballer. According to reports, Soumitra Chatterjee is likely to play the coach of ‘Kusumita’, the lead character. Veteran actress Madhabi Mukherjee will be seen as Soumitra Chatterjee’s on-screen wife. The sports drama is being directed by Hrisikesh Mondol.
