Actress Rajnandini Paul has multiple big-screen projects coming up

Actress Rajnandini Paul is looking forward to her upcoming big screen releases, following the success of her Bengali web series franchise titled Sampurna.

“I am eagerly waiting for my film Shorolakkho Homes to hit the theatres. It’s not just a regular Sherlock Holmes adaptation, but about a character who resembles the celebrated character symbiotically and ideologically. I am quite thankful to the director (Sayantan Ghosal) for giving me the chance to be an important part of this film,” says the actress. She will also be seen in another romantic film directed by Sayantan, where she will be showcasing the lead role in a love story.

“Two of my other films by Anshuman Pratyush, titled Uranchu and Santa, will see me essaying interesting characters,” Rajnandini added. She is also playing two very pivotal roles in Subrata Ghosh’s Tahader Kotha, and Rahool Mukherjee’s Lahu which is going to hit the floors soon.

Talking about her preferences as an actor, she added, “I have become way more careful with the characters I pick now. I look forward to being a part of projects where filmmakers give me the opportunity to showcase my other talents such as dancing or singing.”
