Actress Rajnandini balances work and academics

Actress Rajnandini is all set to start shooting for Preetam Mukherjee’s film Jai Hind. The film also stars Indraneil Sengupta and Shataf Figar. “It is good to see that the situation has improved and people are getting back to normal life. The entertainment industry has suffered a lot in these past two years. I am happy that people are going back to the theatres now. I was working during the pandemic but infrequently.In between, I worked in web series and short films. In fact, my film Lockdown, where I was paired opposite Soham, released in the midst of the pandemic last year. I will soon start shooting for Jai Hind. Jai Hind is a story on the mind game between an ATS senior officer and a shrewd IM terrorist, who would leave no stone unturned to inflict terror in India,” said the actress.
Rajnandini has enrolled for a master’s degree in English literature. “I took a year’s break from academics as I am not comfortable with online classes. I feel, without eye contact with your teacher, a student cannot learn anything. Now, classes are back and I will start going to my classes soon,” said Rajnandini.
The young actress cannot wait to go on a holiday. “In May-June, my family is planning a trip to the USA. I might join them if my shooting dates don’t clash with it,” she said.
