Actress Priyanka Ghosh is all set to direct her first feature film. Titled ‘Jiboner Shesheo Khujbo Toke’, the film portrays the strength of friendship and love.
The plot revolves around a young girl Jagorini (played by Priyanka herself) who proved that the bonding of love and friendship can change a very mediocre life into something sensational. On the other hand, Ronojoy, a superstar singer from Mumbai and is unmindful and careless about his career, suddenly escapes to North Bengal breaching all his contracts and there he accidentally meets Jagorini. They get lost in the mysterious jungle and then find their way out. They fall for each other and love blossoms. Jagorini also makes Ronojoy realize the importance of dedication and priority towards work. Here comes the twist as they break up and Ronojoy returns to Mumbai transformed into a more dedicated, focused and committed singer. Soon he achieves super stardom but what will happen to Jagorini. That’s what forms the crux of the story.
While Priyanka will be seen as Jagorini, newcomer Krishiv plays Ronojoy. The film also stars Indrashish Roy, Shantilal Mukherjee, MouboniSorcar, DipankarDey, Dolon Roy and others. Eminent singers like Kunal Ganjawala, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Nayan Bhattacharya and June Banerjee have lent their voice to the songs.
Priyanka who has previously played the lead in films like Best Friend, Darling, Bhanu, All the Best, Ami Subhash Bolchhi, Mone Pore Sei Din is now all geared up for her new journey behind the camera. She is also coming up with one more film ‘Pori Elo Prithibite’.
