Actor, singer, screenwriter: Artiste Madhumita Sarkar dons many hats

Madhumita Sarkar is an actor, writer, singer, choreographer and producer. In 2016, Madhumita sang a duet song with singer Kumar Sanu for a movie called Kaalo Bhromor starring Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Anuradha Ray and Biswajit Chakraborty. She wrote the story and screenplay and was also the choreographer of the movie. From 2016 to 2020, Madhumita has featured in 13 films as a lead character. Her repertoire includes Khidki Theke Shingho Dwar, Rupantor, Bhangon, Abak Kando, Arale, Unish Bish, Patro Chai, Aghatan, Sonar Pathor Bati, Antardwanda, Dash Mash Dash Diner Golpo, Ajante and Kaalo Bhromor.
