Ahaa Re makes it to Habitat Film Festival

The film is scheduled to be screened between May 17 and May 26
Ranjan Ghosh’s Ahaa Re, starring Rituparna Sengupta and Arifin Shuvo, has been included in the Regional Gems section of Habitat Film Festival in Delhi. The film is scheduled to be screened between May 17 and May 26, though the date is yet to be locked. Talking about the inclusion, Ranjan said, “It will be the domestic premiere of Ahaa Re at the festival. It’s also the maiden festival entry for the production house. This was well-known cinematographer Hari Nair’s second Bengali film and the festival entry is validation of the efforts we put in as a team.”
The film is an unconventional love story revolving around food. While Arifin Shuvoo plays a rich Bangladeshi Muslim, Farhaz Choudhury, who comes to Kolkata on work after ending a relationship, Rituparna essays the character of a middle-class Hindu, Basundhara Ganguly, who runs a food catering service. The director said he’d be travelling to Delhi, along with Rituparna, to interact with the audience there. Happy about working with the leading lady, he said, “She has been extremely supportive all through the film. Given a choice, I would like to cast her in all my movies, but we have not yet decided where to go from here.” The film also completed
