After a marathon shooting schedule of four days, Darshana Banik has finally managed some time to relax. The model-turned-actress is currently chilling at home. “After shooting for 22 hours last night, I am not going step out from my house on Monday,” she said. She was busy shooting Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s Hullor, that also features Soham, Srabanti and Om Sahani, among others.
“For the last three-four days, we shot for almost 12 hours, but the last night (Sunday), was really long. While we knew it was going to be a whole-night shoot, every time the shooting started, it started raining. Jei naachte jachhi, brishti porche. It went on for 22 hours. Moreover, I have a ligament injury and hence the long hours were a bit stressful. But I had to do it since everything was planned. It was the last bit of the shooting. We were working on a song sequence that has been choreographed by Jayesh Pradhan from Mumbai. Now finally, the shoot is wrapped,” said Darshana, who got back home at around 10 in the morning of Monday.
Speaking about the film, the actress said, “While Soham and Srabanti are a couple from south Kolkata, Om and I are from north Kolkata. It is a romcom. Despite being an outright commercial film, it has beautiful realistic touches. We have completed film's shooting by end of January. For the last few days, we have been shooting song sequences and for that, we went to north Kolkata's bylanes, dhobi ghats and several other places. Amra taxir mathaye chepeo shoot korechi. At dhobi ghaat, we ran through the clothes lines.”
