A star-studded affair at Shaheb Bibi Golaam's music launch

It was double the fun for PYTs loitering around a city mall on Saturday evening, as they were treated to a live and impromptu musical act put up by Anjan Dutt, Anupam Roy and Tanya Sen. The occasion was the music lunch of Pratim D Gupta���s upcoming film, Shaheb Bibi Golaam.

The film, starring Dutt and Swastika Mukherjee in lead roles, depicts the story of a contract killer, a housewife and a taxi driver. Dutt kickstarted the event with a performance of an Anupam Roy composition ��� Tomar shawhore from the film���s album. Then Anupam took up the mic to croon Mon bhalo nei. ���It was a real pleasure working with Anjanda. We have grown up listening to the pop icon. Finally, I got a chance to work with him and I thank Pratim for this idea of bringing us together,��� said Anupam, visibly cherishing a fan-boy moment.

The motley crowd that gathered in front of the stage and on the upper floors of the mall cheered along. Up next was Tanya who sang Ghorir kantar mawto. The director, who was all smiles, said, ���Shaheb Bibi Golaam is an entertaining edge-of-the-seat thriller where music plays a big role. I hope the audience enjoy Anupam���s compositions and Neel Adhikari���s background score.���

The music launch was also attended by Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Mitra and Vikram Chatterjee, who play pivotal roles in the film.
