Ridhima Ghosh, incidentally Gaurav’s wife, had essayed the role in the web series where Gaurav was seen as Byomkesh.

Ishaa Saha is set to play Satyabati in the latest Byomkesh project. Ishaa has already worked in the digital space, but this is the first time she will be seen in a period project which will be directed by Abhinandan Dutta.
On the filmy front, up next for Ishaa is Anjan Kanjilal directed ‘Sahobashe’ which sees ‘Abyakto’ fame Anubhav Kanjilal opposite her. The story revolves around the life of an unmarried couple who live together to find happiness and contentment from their relationship. The cast of this film also includes Saayoni Ghosh, Deboleena Dutta Mukherjee, Rahul Banerjee, Subhashish Mukherjee, Biswajit Chakraborty and Tulika Basu in pivotal roles.
