A new film on womanhood in the making

Sabyasachi Bhowmick who has previously directed short films like ‘6^th August’ and ‘We Are Locked’ is all geared up for his first full-length feature film as a director.
Titled ‘Teen Kanya’, it has three interlinked stories namely ‘Binodini’, ‘Bedsheet’ and ‘Good Morning Revolution’. The three female leads in these three stories are Ritu Parna Sen, Sayantani Guhathakurta and Amrita Chattopadhyay.It's film on rediscovering the inner self in every woman in the society.
The first story ‘Binodini’ sheds light on male dominance in the entertainment world against which Binodini (Ritu Parna) decides to raise her voice.
The second story ‘Bedsheet’ tries to see the so-called elite class in our society from a woman (Sayantani Guhathakurta) who belongs to a middle class society when a bedsheet gets stolen. Ishaan Majumder will be seen opposite Sayantani.
The third one tells the story of a college girl (Amrita Chattopadhyay) and how her life changes forever when she gets involved in politics.
If everything goes according to plan, ‘Teen Kanya’ will hit the floors next month.
