We have also heard that Dulal Dey has ambitious plans for the project. "The director has expressed his intention to transform it into a franchise. The narrative of Aranya's escapades will be penned by his brother-in-law, Sudarshan Halder, whose character in the film will be portrayed by Silajit Majumdar," shared an insider.

In a recent interview, Jeetu Kamal spoke in depth about his enthusiasm for the role. The actor found the storyline captivating and was particularly interested in the element of cricket, which plays a significant part in the plot. As a former second-division player himself, this was another compelling reason for him to take up the role. When asked why he agreed to work in a directorial debut, Jeetu stated that everyone has a starting point in their career. He was impressed by Dulal Dey's passion and intricate work on the script, believing that the rest would be down to luck.

With an array of detective characters in Tollywood, the uniqueness of the film lies in its thematic focus, according to the director. "Not just a detective, Aranya Chatterjee is also a cricketer and a medical student. Adding layers to the narrative, Silajit Majumdar will be playing a CID inspector. The plot unfolds in Ranaghat, revolving around the mysterious death of a doctor that Aranya subsequently investigates," a source close to the project revealed.

The film also features a diverse ensemble cast, including Rafiath Rashid Mithila as a nurse and Suhatro Mukhopadhyay in a key role. Other actors like Loknath Dey, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, and Sayan will be appearing in various roles. The film's shooting locations span Kolkata, Baruipur, Bantala, and Krishnanagar. The Director of Photography is Pratip Mukhopadhyay, while Subhadip Guha, known for ‘Ballabhpurer Rupkotha’, will be handling the film's musical score.

The stage is set for what promises to be an intriguing tale of sleuthing, seasoned with elements of cricket and medicine, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
