Talking about the film's story, which is penned by Ujjwal, he said, "This film is about belief. Gour, who is all of seven, believes that the way fruits and vegetables grow out of seeds, pithey too can grow if you plant and water it. He plants a pithey and waters it every day and, to his surprise, sees a sapling one day. And he dreams of a god land where there are loads of pithey trees. This too is his belief and one day, he boards a train that he thinks will take him to the god land! This is not a fantasy film, but a realistic film, which shows how we all live with our beliefs irrespective of whether they get shattered or fulfilled in the course of the journey called life."
