It's been a month since actress
Lily Chakraborty returned from the
hospital
. The
veteran actress tested positive on January 21 and was taken to the hospital thereafter. The actress confirmed she is much better now. “I am keeping well now. Recently, I did a blood test again and the results were satisfactory. Only the sugar level (after fasting) is on the higher side but the doctor said it will be fine with medication. I am also a COPD (
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) patient, where I have to regularly do chest
X-Ray
to see whether there is any obstruction. But the last report has been satisfactory. I am thankful to the doctors, who took care of me when I was in the hospital,” said the actress.
She further added, “I was feeling very weak post
COVID, so my doctor suggested that I should start doing yoga. I am much fitter now. I am having a high protein diet as prescribed by my doctor. Having a proper diet is very important if you have survived
COVID
. For breakfast, I have bread, a boiled egg, and seasonal fruits. For lunch, I have little rice with two pieces of fish and at night I have chicken stew.”
So, when will she be back to work, we asked the
veteran actress
. “I will start shooting for Raja Banerjee’s Pantua after March 15.
Paran Bandopadhyay plays my on-screen husband in this film. I shot for a day but after that, I was sick, so the shooting got stalled. I have told the unit that I won’t shoot for long hours as my health won't permit that and the team is okay with it. I will also start dubbing for Choddobeshi from the end of this month,” shared
Lily Chakraborty.
