Kolkata boy thrilled to play Mulayam Singh Yadav onscreen

Bengali director Suvendu Raj Ghosh’s upcoming biopic ‘Main Mulayam’, based on the life of politician Mulayam Singh Yadav is set to release on February 11. What’s more exciting is Kolkata based actor Amyth Sethi had a fanboy moment recently when real life Mulaayam Singh Yadav met with reel Mulayam aka Amyth. The city boy is playing the titular role in the upcoming biopic based on the life of the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
The Film has been produced under the banner of MS films and Productions in association with Don Cinema by Meena Sethi Mondal and Mahmood Ali.
The director has not left any stone unturned to capture the life of the iconic politician. The film focuses on the struggle of early life of Mulayam Ji. Amyth has faced a tough challenge while portraying the different shades of Mulaayam Singh Yadav in his debut - from a farmer's son to a wrestler to a teacher to finally a politician.
The cast of this biopic includes actors like Mukesh Tiwari, Govind Namdev, Mimoh Chakroborty, Siajiee Sinday, Sana Amin, Ahsan Khan, Zarina Wahab and Prerna in pivotal roles. Yogesh Kohli, the DOP has explored the beauty of the film nicely.
