It was recently awarded a 'Special Mention' from the Rainbow Film Society in recognition of the 'overwhelming audience response' at the 21st London Rainbow Film Festival, 2020. And now, ‘Ahaa Re’ has won the coveted 'Audience Choice Award' at the 6th Caleidoscope Indian Film Festival Boston and it surely keeps Ranjan in happy space.

‘Ahaa re’ revolves around a rich Muslim chef from

Dhaka

(Arifin Shuvoo) and a middle-class Hindu home cook from Kolkata (Rituparna Sengupta). She specializes in traditional Bengali cuisine while Arifin is a master of Bangladeshi dishes. The duo meets and discovers love through their shared passion for food and cooking. The film is as much about love as it is about life's struggles and explores why and how our religious identities should take a backseat when there are so many inspiring stories around us.
