‘Game Plan’ and adda session

in the lead and directed by Anindya Sarkar was held recently at a city cafe. Amrita Mukherjee was present to moderate the session.The story of

Game Plan

has been conceived by Pallavi Chatterjee and for the first time she has also produced the movie.


The movie is a socio thriller and revolves around the life of a married couple Akash, Madhu and their son Tobo. The movie takes a turn when a mishap happens while Akash and Madhu are in vacation where Akash gets killed and Madhu is taken captive by unknown assailants. Madhu is framed for the murder of her husband and is jailed. She realizes that her son is in danger and escapes from her captivity.

“Film making these days have discovered itself in a new light of change and maturity. This is going to be my second released feature film as a director &while directing I have tried to keep a simple thought in my mind that is to improve the storyline with facts and reality.The film has been extensively shot in the serene locations of Vishakhapatnam. I really want to thank Pallavi Chatterjee for giving me this wonderful opportunity. All the actors and the cast and crew have done a fantastic job in the movie,” said Anindya Sarkar.


“From childhood I have been inspired from films like Lal Kuthi &Kuheli where I have seen my father act. I have always wanted to pen down a story on thriller genre. Game Plan is my earnest effort for the same. The uniqueness of the subject has given an extra edge to the movie. I have received tremendous support from my cast and crew members. I really hope the cine-goers appreciate our hard work and like the movie. It’s a very different genre, I have always inspired”, said Pallavi Chatterjee.


The movie also stars Sayantani Guhathakurta, Master Samriddha, Saikat, Ishika, Krishno Kishor Mukherjee, Jaydeep Mukherjee and Papiya Debrajan. The music of the movie is scored by Amit – Anjan. The script has been penned by Amitava Bhattacharya and Magi Natesh from Chennai is the director of photography. The editor of the movie is M Susmit.
