crisis. However, he’s more concerned since most people seem to have let their guard down. Goutam is busy with the post-production of ‘Somoyer Smritimala’ (Memories of Time), which stars Gargee Roychowdhury and Suman Mukhopadhyay in the lead.

The film is about a couple and how their relationship changes amid the pandemic and the lockdown. When asked how it was working with Gargee and Suman for the first time, the director said, “It was lovely working with both. They are extremely sincere about their work and accommodative on the sets. Both of them look convincing and credible as husband and wife on-screen. I am very happy with their performances. Gargee still has a thirst for learning and the way Suman has essayed his character is incredible. Gargee has also sung for the film, while Suman has recited a poem.”

He is also waiting to complete his film, Parikrama, which got stalled due to the pandemic. “The hero of the film, Marco Leonardi, lives in

Italy

and I don’t know when he’ll be able to come to India for the shoot. A major portion of the shooting is left to be done,” said the director.
