’ Parambrata Chatterjee doesn’t deviate from his usual mannerism and does a decent job playing a young Byomkesh, the observant Bengali detective with equal proportion of wit, subtle humour and inherent wisdom. He also manages to keep the audience engaged with his interesting dialogue delivery.

But who is Parambrata’s favourite Byomkesh actor? According to him, Abir Chatterjee fits better as the iconic detective than all the other characters he has played so far. “It is quite different from the dimension my act of Byomkesh has, but I feel Abir has done his job with lots of dedication and sincerity while playing Byomkesh in both Anjan Dutt and Arindam Sil’s films,” said the versatile actor.

‘Satyanweshi Byomkesh’ is based on Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s story ‘Mognomainak’ and also stars Rudranil ghosh as Byomkesh’s companion Ajit while Anjan Dutt, Gargee Roy Chowdhury, Suprobhat Das play pivotal roles.
