Puneeth Rajkumar’s untimely death left his fans in grief and many are still grieving. However, the South actor’s fan base isn’t limited to Karnataka. One incident in Kolkata way back in 2018 is still being cherished by his fans. Puneeth was mobbed by hundreds of fans when he was shooting for his critically acclaimed horror film ‘
Nata Sarvabhouma
’ in and around Kolkata’s Khidirpur area.
It was the final schedule of the film and the team wrapped it up on a grand scale as the power star spent some time with his fans and even took part in a photo session.
A large number of fans literally swarmed him for autographs and pictures. The way these fans mobbed him on the sets it clearly showed that Puneeth’s fan base isn’t restricted to South only. Despite the fans creating chaos for pictures the late actor obliged them patiently and posed with them for a group photo.
Besides Puneeth Rajkumar, ‘Nata Sarvabhouma’ also starred
Rachita Ram and
Anupama Parameswaran in the lead. Directed by
Pavan Wadeyar
, It’s a horror thriller which released in 2019. Puneeth played a journalist in the film and earned accolades for his supreme act.
Son of actor Rajkumar, Puneeth was seen as one of the most popular actors in the South film industry. The actor passed away following a heart attack on October 29.
