Prosenjit Chatterjee has already completed dubbing for
Srjit Mukherji’s ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’ and
Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘
Kaberi Antardhan
’. Talking about his experiences, the actor said, “I completed dubbing for both the films and each day, I pray to God that the situation improves soon and we get back to our normal lives,” said the actor.
The story of ‘Kaberi Antardhan’ revolves around the time when Emergency was declared in the country. It is a period piece with an ensemble cast. “The team put in a lot of effort into researching the era when I was dubbing. Srabanti and Ambarish (Bhattacharya) both have done a good job in the film,” said the actor, who is spending a lot of time over his directorial project. “I will start directing next year. It is based on a historical novel. So, I am spending a lot of time on the script and pre-production,” said Prosenjit.
Buzz is that the actor will be part of Sayantan Ghoshal’s next film on criminal advocate PK Basu, a fictional detective character created by Bengali writer Narayan Sanyal. “Yes, talks are on with Sayantan, but it is too early to comment on it,” said Prosenjit.
