’, popular musician
Debojyoti Mishra now plans to write more songs in the coming months. The musician has written two songs in Atanu’s film and he has received an overwhelming response from the music fraternity for both of them.
“It is not that I have not written songs in the past, but I do not write regularly. But now, when I am getting praised so much, I am thinking about it seriously,” he said. Before ‘Robibaar’, Debojyoti had also written songs for
Anik Dutta’s ‘
Meghnadbodh Rohoshyo
’.
Besides composing music, Debojyoti is also building a music village at South 24 Parganas where he is planning to conduct regular music classes for talented musicians who belong to humble economic backgrounds. While the construction work is going on, he is yet to decide on when the village would be operational.
