Amrita Chattopadhyay has recently completed shooting for two
films and is all set to start work on two new projects. One of the films she completed shooting for is Soumya-Supriya’s Rahassomoy, which also stars
Saswata Chatterjee,
Anindya Chatterjee and Saayani Ghosh.
“The story revolves around four friends who are IT employees and live in the same apartment complex. They get entangled in a crime and Saswata Chatterjee comes in as an investigator,”
Amrita said.
She also completed shooting for a Hindi thriller, which was entirely shot in Kolkata within 16 days and features several Bollywood actors.
“After almost a year, it feels really nice to be busy. Before March 2020, I would often think of taking a break and going for a vacation. But now it feels like the busier I am, the better,” she shared.
Meanwhile, Amrita is eagerly waiting for the release of her next film, Saibal Mitra’s ‘Debotar Grash’ which has none other than
Naseeruddin Shah and late
Soumitra Chatterjee sharing the screen for the first time. In the film, Amrita will be seen playing the friend of a primary school teacher who is facing legal charges related to the communal disturbance.
