‘Hoichoi Unlimited’ spreads awareness with ‘Safe Drive Save Life’ campaign

Dev recently launched Kolkata Police’s 2018 Durga Puja guide map at the Lalbazar police headquarters. A number of innovative posters of his Puja release ‘Hoichoi Unlimited’ were also released to spread awareness about traffic rules during the festive days.
Being a Member of Parliament from Trinamool Congress, Dev is closely associated with the ‘Safe Drive Save Life’ campaign over the last six years.The Tollywood superstar believes cinema can become the most effective medium to spread awareness. During the event Dev also revealed he has never shot a scene of riding two-wheeler without helmet as people, especially the young generation, often emulate their on-screen idols.
The ‘Hoichoi Unlimited’ inspired comic posters have used a few taglines of the Kolkata police like ‘After Whiskey, Driving Is Risky’ featuring the animated characters from the film.
Dev also urged to be safe during Puja. It’s quite common to drink during festive seasons, but the popular star advised don’ drive when you are drunk. Instead he suggested to take a taxi or Uber if somebody is drunk.
