Kaushik Ganguly's filmmaking decades ago when she used to head a private entertainment channel. She was moved to see his first work ‘Bhalobasha Mondobasha’ where
Shiboprosad Mukherjee played the lead.
And it's after a good many decades that the trio is finally coming together. “We wanted for a long time now to work with Kaushik. So, we thought it would be great to get him direct his son's second film? If Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap or Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani can work together in Bollywood, then why can't it happen here?” feels Shiboprosad.

for the first time in his upcoming ‘
Lokhhi Chele
’. The film which is being scripted and directed by Ganguly will start rolling form this August.
"It's my first movie with windows and I am feeling very happy to be working with such a hugely popular and successful production house. In this movie, I will be directing my son, Ujaan and I hope that as a director and a father I am able to underscore and bring out some more facets of an actor in him,” feels Kaushik Ganguly.
