A short film is being made on the web-dependent modern society

Raj Chakraborty’s ‘Adventures Of Jojo’ witnessed the big screen debut of Jashojeet Banerjee last December and he stunned everyone with his flawless acting. And now the super talented kid is in a short film under the banner of Fantasmagoria. Incidentally, Fantasmagoria is the brainchild of Jashojeet’s father popular actor Joyjit Banerjee, Manas Basu, Uttam Kumar Das and Debabrata Samanta.
The short film ‘One Point Four GB’ is being directed by Manas Basu and sees Labani Sarkar and Debolina Dutta in pivotal roles beside Jashojeet.
While elaborating on the film’s story the director said: “The modern world is completely dependent on the web. We have lost the urge to communicate face to face. Broken relationships are everywhere. The mental attachment is absent these days. ‘One Point Four GB’ focuses on this particular issue. There are three characters in the film – a grandmother, a mother and a son.”
The shoot will be wrapped up within two-three days. Once the post production works are over, Manas plans to send the short film to international film festivals.
