Amrita has always been conscious of what she eats. When asked how she maintains her detox regime, Amrita said, "I don’t make many strict plans but try to stick to homemade food mostly. Also, chia seeds are my favourite go-to health food.

Many people include them in their diet these days. I try to put them in smoothies and juices and have at least one glass a day. I also do light exercises at home and walk for four-five kilometres everyday."
Amrita also believes that detoxing the mind is as important as detoxification of the body. So, she is watching a lot of web series, movies online, reading books and listening to music in her spare time.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the talented actress will next be seen in Saibal Mitra’s ‘Debotar Grash’ which also stars Naseeruddin Shah and the late Soumitra Chattopadhyay in the lead. In the film, Amrita will be seen playing the friend of a primary school teacher. The science teacher is facing legal charges related to religion and incidentally, the legal notice is sent by his friend’s father.
