‘CrisCross’ leading ladies come together for the mahurat shoot

CrissCross

’ became a rage on social media even before commencing its shoot. The team lead by director Birsa Dasgupta finally came together on Wednesday for the mahurat shot. The film's four leading ladies -Nusrat Jahan, Mimi Chakraborty, Sohini Sarkar and Priyanka Sarkar, marked the special day by posing together for a picture.
The film is reportedly based on Smaranjit Chakraborty's popular novel and is slated to go on floors soon.
Swastika Mukherjee, who was initially chosen to essay a pivotal role, opted out of the film because she felt the character was "shallow."
Penned by director Mainak Bhaumik, ‘Crisscross’ is touted to be an urban, slice-of-life story that follows individual lives of five women who are connected to each other but have contrasting behaviours.
