Yadav, whose nomination paper from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency was rejected by the Election Commission, has approached the Supreme Court seeking its intervention to allow him to contest and set aside the decision of poll panel.The EC had rejected his nomination papers on the ground that it was not accompanied by certificate to show that he was not dismissed from job for
corruption
or disloyalty to the state. Challenging the poll panel's decision, Yadav contended that he had produced his dismissal letter along with the nomination papers and it clearly shows that he was dismissed from service for alleged indiscipline and not corruption or disloyalty to state.Top Comment
