In her affidavit filed on Thursday, she revealed that her total assets are worth Rs 81 crore while her liabilities, including loans, are Rs 17 crore.

The graduate from Mumbai’s SNDT Women’s University has a Mercedes car, purchased in 2013 for Rs 48 lakh. She has also declared 1,911 pieces of gold and silver, including jewellery and 122 pieces of precious stones worth Rs 1 crore.

While her profession is listed as business, she primarily earns rental income.

Her Bollywood star-turned-politician husband Shatrughan has assets worth Rs 112 crore and liabilities of Rs 10 crore. The couple has invested majorly in property and owns various plots of agricultural and non-agricultural land across the country. While Poonam has properties worth Rs 62 crore, her husband has residential ones worth Rs 103 crore.

Both parents declared they have given huge loans to their daughter, Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha. Between the two, they have loaned Rs 26 crore to her.
