Will defeat Kavitha: Madhu Yaskhi Goud
HYDERABAD: Two-time MP and Congress candidate from Nizamabad Madhu Yaskhi Goud is confident of wresting the seat from chief minister’s daughter and sitting MP K Kavitha in the April 11 Lok Sabha elections.
Interacting with the media on Thursday, he said the defeat of Kavitha would be a fitting lesson for the TRS. “CM KCR is scared that his daughter is going to lose the election. She made several promises, including a turmeric board for Nizamabad, but no promise has been delivered in the last five years,” he said. He asserted that Kavitha would lose the battle this time.
Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Dasoju Sravan lambasted KCR, saying the CM is trying to deflect the attention of people on the recent success of Congress in the MLC elections. He alleged that the CM was harassing employees as they are supporting the Congress. “He is threatening to scrap the revenue department,” he said, referring to an assurance the CM had given to a farmer.
