Telangana Jana Samithi to decide on Monday about fighting Lok Sabha elections

Telangana Jana Samithi to decide on Monday about fighting Lok Sabha elections
HYDERABAD: Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) will not contest from Malkajgiri, Nizamabad and Karimnagar seats. Sources said this decision has been taken following pressure from within the party and personal requests by Revanth Reddy and Madhu Yashki Goud — Congress candidates from Malkajgiri and Nizamabad. The TJS candidate from Karimnagar reportedly backed out in support of Congress candidate Ponnam Prabhakar.
TJS leaders said official announcement would be made by M Kodandaram on Monday and the decision has been taken to ensure that anti-TRS and anti-BJP vote is not divided.
“TJS core committee is meeting on Monday to take a final call on the same,” said a TJS leader.
