PM Modi, K Chandrasekhar Rao dictators at national and state level, says Ghulam Nabi Azad
HYDERABAD: Former union minister and leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad, on Sunday, termed both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as “dictators”, at the national and state level, respectively.
“If Modi is misusing CBI against opposition leaders, including former PM Manmohan Singh, KCR is purchasing Congress and other party MLAs with money. Modi-rule has witnessed atrocities against even two-year-old girl children,” Azad said, while addressing a public meeting “Atma Guarava Sabha” in Chevella parliamentary constituency.
Azad showered praises on Congress candidate from Chevella and sitting MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and his family stating, “Konda’s family has enough money and he has come into politics to serve you. Vote for him to victory with over 2 lakh majority for your own welfare. His entire family is involved in the service of the people.”
The credit for turning Hyderabad and Bengaluru into IT hubs goes to the Congress. “It is Congress-led UPA that brought MNREGA and focused on education and health sectors. Now, Congress is promising Rs 6,000 per month to be deposited into bank accounts of every poor family in the country. The Congress will waive crop loans and extend remunerative prices to agriculture produce of farmers,” he said.
Konda said CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has been doing injustice to Ranga Reddy district and its people for the last five years. Now, KCR has fielded Ranjit Reddy who hails from Karimnagar and this contest has turned into a battle between a local (Konda Vishweshwar Reddy) and non-local, Ranjit, he said.
“Congress is known to fulfil its promises and I assure that we would bring water to Ranga Reddy district at any cost. KCR has made promises, one after the other, but has not fulfilled those. Let’s defeat all the traitors,” Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said.

Nabi is a reference to the most holy prophet whose name I have refrained from mentioning all these years, for I am not worthy of it! This man is not a Ghulam to the Nabi, but to the Gandhi family. Thus right now his name ought to be Ghulam Raul Azad.Read allPost comment
