, campaigned in Berasia area on Monday.
The campaign started from Intkhedi at around 11:30am, with Thakur taking a tour of the area in a ‘rath’ — a bus converted into a poll vehicle. Earlier, she used a different vehicle, but, sources said, rising temperature might have necessitated the change.
Berasia MLA, Vishnu Khatri, accompanied her. Addressing the locals, she said, “Come together, if we come together then religion will win, and when religion will win, we will become religious and in turn prosperous, my blessings will always be with you.”
During her campaign Pragya also met voters in Golkhedi, Nipania, Gunga, Rodia, Hirankhedi, Berasia, Devpura, Manakund, and other places in Berasia constituency.
Later in the evening, Thakur, attended the meeting of the booth level workers, with other senior leaders Bhopal MP Alok Sanjar, mayor Alok Sharma, BJP district president Vikas Virani, former MLAs Surendra Nath Singh, Dhurv Narayan Singh.
She urged the workers to reach the poll booths early and stay their till late in the evening.
