Lok Sabha elections: Sadhvi Pragya, Digvijaya go on temple run
BHOPAL: BJP candidate Sadhvi Pragya Thakur visited different areas of Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency on Friday. Since it was Hanuman Jayanti festival, she started off her campaign by visiting temples in Kotra Sultanabad and Neelbad to offer prayers.
Later in the day, she went to Sehore and visited temples there, including the famous Ganesh temple. She also held a meeting with party workers there. Local BJP leaders from Sehore were also present on the occasion.
From Sehore, Sadhvi Pragya then went to Berasia and held another meeting with party workers in the afternoon. From Berasia, she reached Manas Bhawan in the evening and again met party workers. Meanwhile, Congress candidate Digvijaya Singh also visited temples and attended various functions on Hanuman Jayanti.
The former chief minister was at the Balaji Hanuman temple in Mehndipur to offer prayers to Lord Hanuman and seek his blessings for welfare of people.
He also fed cows at Khedapati Hanuman temple.
