Former district Congress chief to contest independently
BARWANI: Denied ticket by
“I will file nomination as Congress and independent candidates both on April 25. If the ticket given to Dr Govind Mujalde is not changed then I will contest independently,” Parma told mediapersons on Wednesday.
Parmar claimed that he would be given ticket and its possibility was high since senior Congress office-bearers had promised him to give ticket.
“I have already got support of BSP, JAYS, Adivasi Patel Sangh (Sansad) and other social organisations. In past 15 years, I worked hard for the party, but Lata Rawat, wife of Sendhwa MLA Gyarsi Lal Rawat, was made zila panchayat president. It was so unfair,” he said.
Parmar added that during assembly
Despite being denied ticket in assembly election he supported the party and helped Rawat to win elections, Parmar claimed adding that an agreement was made that he would be giving Lok Sabha polls ticket. But minister Bala Bachchan and MLA Rawat and Congress leader Digvijaya Singh did not support him.
He claimed that all Congress MLAs and ministers area were indirectly supporting him and Dr Mujalde was nowhere in the contest.
Former block Congress
