EC issues notification for fourth phase of polls

BHOPAL: Notification for the fourth and last phase of elections in state was published on Monday.

In the last phase, elections would be held in 8 parliamentary constituencies including Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsaur,

Ratlam

, Dhar,

Indore

,

Khargone

, and

Khandwa

, chief electoral officer VL Kantha Rao said.

“Last date for filing nominations, which had started today, is April 29. Scrutiny of the nomination forms would be done on April 30. Candidates can withdraw their nominations by May 2 and elections would be held in these constituencies on May 19,” Rao said.
